HVAC Tech Stack aims to publish accurate, useful, and transparent software research. This policy describes how editorial decisions are made.

Independence

Editorial conclusions are based on stated criteria and available evidence. Vendors and affiliate partners cannot buy a positive review, a guaranteed score, or the removal of a documented limitation.

Sources and attribution

We prefer primary sources for product capabilities, pricing, policies, and technical claims. Secondary sources may be used to add context or represent user experience, and are identified accordingly.

Artificial intelligence

AI tools may assist with research organization, drafting, editing, and quality checks. Every published article is reviewed for accuracy, clarity, sourcing, and unsupported claims. AI-generated text is not treated as evidence.

Corrections

When a factual error is confirmed, we correct it promptly. Material corrections and substantial updates may be noted in the article.

Reviews and updates

Software changes frequently. Articles display an updated date, and time-sensitive claims are rechecked during scheduled reviews or when we receive reliable notice of a change.
